Anjuna – North Goa’s Most Beautiful & Peaceful Beach
Tired of Candolim and Calangute? Anjuna may be equally popular, but it certainly will be less crowded than either. The best part? It isn’t even too far up north and offers more peace than the others. Popular artist trio Above & Beyond’s record labels, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, as well as their track Anjunabeach, are all a tribute to Anjuna, as you might have guessed. A special beach indeed. MUST VISIT PLACES IN ANJUNA
Anjuna Beach
Obviously. One of the most peaceful beaches in Goa, at least during the day. Where the shacks stand, is where the psytrance scene is said to have originated. You can enjoy a silent afternoon with a book and a beer, or decide to try out water sports here – parasailing, speed boating, jet skiing, banana ride, bumper ride and simply a boat ride.
Anjuna Flea Market
Brush on your bargaining skills and head here to find the most interesting things you didn’t know you needed. Right from garments to spices, sculptures to jewellery and more. This place is not just for shopping, but has some F&B options in addition to live music, so you can watch the sun set amidst a lovely setting.
Anjuna Hill
If you’re still in an adventurous mood, try out activities like ATV rides, horse riding, castle jumping, horse carting, balloon shooting, ring game, or the bull ride! These are bound to add some fun to your trip.
Artjuna Cafe
It’s not just a cafe, but so much more. A lifestyle shop, event space, playground and garden, it is worth a visit. A yoga workshop in the morning, followed by a hearty breakfast is what makes this place special.
Nagoa
Ready to visit the crocodiles? Go sailing through the Goan backwaters which is home to varieties of birds and reptiles. As you pass the mangroves of the Mandovi river, you’ll see crocodiles in their natural habitat.
Party Places
In the mood to party? How about you start your evening at Purple Martini? Overlooking the sea from high up, it is the perfect spot for sunsets and martinis! Next, head to Nyex, a beach club which is likely to be as happening as Cafe Lilliput, another spot on the beach. Curlies is probably what made Anjuna so popular with its psy parties, as did Shiva Valley which is right next to it. Hungry? Head to Burger Factory which is worth every bun, or German Bakery which may also host the occasional live gig.

Solace by the Sea, Anjuna

Right below Siolim is Assagao. Azure is a luxurious oasis of calmness that makes for a very comfortable stay for a group of up to six people.
