How to reach Auli: The nearest major airport from Auli is Dehradun. You can either book a taxi all the way to this hamlet or take the bus from Lansdowne Chowk, Dehradun to Joshimath, 6 kms. From Auli. There is only one bus that runs at 6:15 early in the morning so make sure to book in advance. The bus journey would cost you around Rs. 800, depending on the time of the year.
