Kutch is one of the hottest cities in India, which witnesses melting temperatures, however, in December, its temperature drops, making it pleasant. Its handicrafts and handlooms, along with its sheer beauty, are well known throughout the country. During the month of December, this deserted area of salty marsh enjoys subtle winters; it is warm when compared to the rest of the country.
Stretching across the north and east of Kutch district, the Rann of Kutch attracts tourists from all over the world, especially during December, given the festivities of Rann Utsav – a 3-month long annual festival that celebrates Kutch’s diversity, art and culture.
