Amit is no newcomer to the field of strategy and innovation. At StayVista (earlier Vista Rooms), he has been responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s marketing strategy and brand recognition globally, which ties in seamlessly with his years of experience in studying market entry and strategy building.

 After graduating in Economics & International Studies from Northwestern University, USA, Amit was associated with Teach for India as a Fellow; followed by consulting at Dalberg Global Development Advisors where he worked with the Chinese and German government ministries, and the World Bank on socio-economic development projects.

 Together with co-founders Ankita Sheth and Pranav Maheshwari, the trio is focused on driving the company vision of building a robust network of curated stays in India for large and small groups alike, identifying a looming gap in the travel industry that caters to offering fully-serviced, luxury villa rentals for all purposes of stays.

One of the first women entrepreneurs in the alternate stay segment, Ankita comes from entrepreneurial lineage and a career centred around building teams. At StayVista, she spearheads supply growth, leading all facets of property acquisition, homeowner relationships, human resources, and powering the company’s ongoing expansion efforts into emerging markets. Her entrepreneurial pursuits stem from a successful tenure as OYO’s Head of Acquisitions - Mumbai, preceded by working on senior level search mandates at Stanton Chase and resourcing for Boston Analytics.

 Her passion for travel and attention to detail enables her fortitude of building a robust network of luxury villa stays/rentals in India. Fueled by the very concept of hotel aggregation and stay experiences, Ankita, together with co-founders Pranav Maheshwari and Amit Damani, laid the foundation of StayVista in 2015, bridging the gap that caters to offering fully-serviced, luxury villa stays for large groups.

Among the three pioneers that led StayVista into limelight as India’s largest collection of luxury villa rentals/stays, Pranav leads revenue generation, technology and innovation at StayVista. His combined interest and experience in consumer-facing technology and financial management plays a monumental role in the company’s rapid growth and innovative leadership. 

After completing his education from XLRI with a major in finance and marketing, he joined Ernst & Young in 2012 as a Financial Risk Consultant, followed by Strategy Consultation at Accenture Management Consulting. With the passion for learning something new, he spent a brief period of his undergraduate years working in the field of marketing, where he learnt the importance of studying market needs and product positioning. This in fact was a precursor to his desire of building something of his own.

 Together with co-founders Ankita Sheth and Amit Damani, the trio laid the foundation of StayVista in 2015, bridging the gap that caters to offering fully-serviced, exclusive private stays for large groups; bringing over 500 luxury holiday homes across 50+ destinations in India and more than 3,00,000 happy guests, and growing.
