Each room has its own heater and range of modern amenities to ensure uninterrupted convenience for all its guests. With its bohemian-styled TV room, the room to the right is where one may reconnect with the outside world. Here&#39;s where you can catch u on your favourite comedies, thrillers, and series. The other room, which is just across from it, comprises a mini-study with a comfortable seating area and a collection of exquisite books - a perfect disconnect from the real world. Each room has its own king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom equipped with geysers, towels, and basic toiletries.

CULINARY EXPERIENCES AND DELIGHTS

- There are 3 spacious bedrooms - all on the ground floor.&nbsp; 
- All bedrooms offer a myriad of amenities including a king-sized bed, TV, Wi-Fi, wardrobe, heater, indoor fireplace and an ensuite bathroom. 
- Each bedroom features additional sleeping arrangements. 
- All bedrooms overlook the manicured gardens or the rising mountains.&nbsp; 
- Extra mattresses can be provided on request.&nbsp;

BATHROOMS 
- There are 3 ensuite bathrooms. 
- All bathrooms have geysers, separate dressing areas, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS 
- The home opens up to an expansive living room on the ground floor, replete with comfortable seating arrangements for up to 6 people. 
- It is equipped with a spectrum of amenities including a portable music system, Wi-Fi access, TV, heater, indoor fireplace and a CCTV camera.&nbsp; 
- There is a separate dining room that can accommodate up to 6 people. 
- Guests can head over to the sundeck and soak in the beautiful views around. 
- The exteriors of the property feature a sprawling lawn, 1700 sq. ft. in size. It can comfortably seat up to 15 people.&nbsp;

KITCHEN 
- Guests may use the kitchen to prepare their own meals at no additional charge. 
- It is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, water purifier, toaster, induction plate and a mixer-grinder. 
- Crockery and cutlery are also available. 
- Cooking and consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.&nbsp;

FOOD 
- Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals can be provided at an additional cost. 
- The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge. 
- Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.

GUEST ACCESS 
The guests have access to the entire villa. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS 
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay.&nbsp;

STAFF ACCOMMODATION 
We can provide accommodation for 1 male and 1 female staff member at an additional cost of Rs. 1500 per person, per day.&nbsp;The cost for staff meals will align with that of adult meals, and an 18% GST charge will be added to these charges. The staff will be accommodated in the staff quarters.&nbsp;

ACTIVITIES 
Nestled in the blissful town of Dharamshala, this soothing escape is just the solution for all the urban woes. Within the property, guests can start their day with a leisurely stroll on the lawns, and relish the morning cuppa in the midst of nature. Gather your loved ones and play indoor games such as cards and ludo. The sundeck promises breathtaking vistas of the surrounding peaks and verdure. Huddle around the bonfire and devour a scrumptious barbecue meal. &nbsp;

ADD-ON SERVICES 
- Bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 1500 per session.

- All-male groups are not allowed. 
- This is a pet-friendly property. 
- In case of a power outage, the inverter can support all the appliances for up to 6 hours.&nbsp; 
- All mobile networks work fairly well here. 
- Cooking and consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. 
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. 
- There are CCTV cameras that capture the living room and external areas for security purposes. 
- Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.

HOUSE RULES 
- Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas only.&nbsp; 
- Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only.

POLICIES 
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed. 
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.

- The remaining 2 bedrooms are on the first floor of the second cottage. 
- All bedrooms offer a variety of amenities including a comfortable queen-sized bed, heater, Wi-Fi access, wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms. 
- All bedrooms on the ground floor and first floor of the main cottage, open up to a separate lounge area, with ample seating arrangements.&nbsp; 
- The bedroom on the second floor also has an extra single bed.&nbsp; 
- A few bedrooms overlook the beautiful plunging valleys.&nbsp;

BATHROOMS 
- There are 5 attached bathrooms and 1 powder room in the main cottage and 2 attached bathrooms in the second cottage.&nbsp; 
- All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS 
- There are 3 snug and well-furnished living rooms, 2 in the main cottage and 1 in the second cottage. One is on the ground floor and 2 are on the first floor.&nbsp; 
- Both the living rooms in the main cottage offer sofa-style seating arrangements for up to 5 people and are equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi and a heater.&nbsp; 
- The third living room is on the first floor of the second cottage and offers ample seating arrangements for up to 9 people and is equipped with TV, Wi-Fi and a heater.&nbsp; 
- There is a separate dining room on the ground floor of the main cottage that can seat up to 6 people. 
- The first floor of the main cottage houses the games room and entertainment area. It features stocked bookshelves and a selection of indoor games.&nbsp; 
- The breathtaking exteriors of the property feature a 2000 sq. ft. lawn with a seating capacity of 10 people.&nbsp;

KITCHEN 
- There is a commercial kitchen and a kitchenette. Guests may only use the kitchenette for reheating purposes. Guests do not have access to the kitchen.&nbsp; 
- The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave.

FOOD 
- All meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost. 
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.&nbsp;

GUEST ACCESS 
There are 2 cottages on the premises. Guests have access to both the cottages, except for the kitchen and the ground floor of the second cottage. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS 
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. The caretaker will be available from 8 AM to 10 PM.

STAFF ACCOMMODATION 
We can provide accommodation for 2 male staff members at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per person, per day, exclusive of meal charges. The staff will be accommodated in the staff quarters.

BATHROOMS 
- There are 3 bathrooms in the villa - all attached. 
- All bathrooms have geysers, hairdryers,&nbsp; towels, and basic toiletries. 
- A bathtub is offered in one bathroom.

COMMON AREAS 
- The living room seats 12 people. 
- It offers a music system, WiFi, heater and fireplace. 
- The dining area seats 10 people. 
- There are 3 sprawling lawns with seating.&nbsp; 
- There is a laundry room.&nbsp;

KITCHEN 
- The kitchen is accessible only if the guest books the entire villa and will be charged at Rs 2000 per day. 
- It is equipped with a microwave, rice cooker, gas stove, oven, refrigerator, water purifier, a toaster, and a mixer-grinder. 
- Crockery and cutlery are available. 
 
FOOD 
- If the property is booked for less than 7 nights, guests can opt for the meal package. Please refer to the menu for the prices.&nbsp; 
- If the property is booked for more than 7 nights, a chef can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 2000 per day. Groceries will be charged as per actuals.&nbsp; 
- Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals can be provided at an additional cost. 
- A barbecue kit/meal can be arranged at an extra charge. 
- The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge. 
- Guests can also eat out in nearby restaurants like Dikra Restaurant, Riverside Restaurant, Third Eye Cafe &amp; Restaurant and Malsi Greens Vegetarian Restaurant.&nbsp;

GUEST ACCESS 
The guests have access to the entire villa.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS 
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay.&nbsp; 
 
STAFF ACCOMMODATION 
We are able to provide accommodation for your personal staff at an additional cost of Rs. 1500 exclusive of meal charges. 
 
ACTIVITIES 
Within the property, guests can play indoor games like cards and ludo or gather around the fireplace. Guests can step out to explore flora and fauna including the Litchi orchard or enjoy birdwatching or go trekking to the river. They can request for a bonfire to be lit up. They can also head to the clubhouse near the villa, and play various board games, chess, carrom, and badminton. As the sun goes down, guests can enjoy a lovely sunset from the confines of the property. 
 
HOME TRUTHS 
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we&rsquo;d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! 
- The villa is relatively secluded.&nbsp; 
- This property is not suitable for pets.&nbsp; 
- In case of a power outage, the inverter can support fans and lights for up to 5-7 hours.&nbsp; 
- WiFi, although offered, is subject to network availability at any given time.

- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay. 
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.

Situated in the erstwhile summer colonial capital, Northwood Cottage is a quaint heritage cottage, that takes you back in time. Built in 1916, the retreat is set amidst deodar trees, at a 20-minute drive away from the heart of Shimla.

The vintage furnishings, artifacts, and d&eacute;cor weave tales of time past. The stone exteriors and lattice windows, coupled with a homely inside and a cozy attic, make Northwood the setting for an Enid Blyton adventure.

BEDROOMS 
- There are 3 bedrooms &ndash; 1 standard room on the ground floor and 2 suites (Green Room and Blue Room) on the first floor. Inside each of the suites, along with the main bedroom, there&rsquo;s a dressing room. 
- Heaters are provided in all rooms. 
- All rooms have attached bathrooms. 
- The Green Room has a flat-screen TV. 
- Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms. 
- All 3 rooms have king-size beds, while the dressing rooms in the suites have two single beds each.

BATHROOMS 
- There are 3 attached bathrooms in the villa. 
- The bathrooms are absolutely neat and tidy. 
- All bathrooms have geysers, towels, and toiletries.

COMMON AREAS

ACTIVITIES

They can head out to Chapslee School to enjoy invigorating games of basketball and football (after 3:30 PM), or visit the gym there, free of cost (after 3 PM). One can also head out to experience all that Shimla has to offer as the villa is located at a 20-minute drive from the heart of the city.
