Eyes On The Lake - Bhor - Villa in Pune

The villa is perched on a quaint hill that descends down to the pristine Bhatghar Lake. The living room features leathered-lounge sofas that are plush and incredibly comfortable and a window that looks out over lake – the views here are incredible. From almost any angle, your eye is drawn outwards to the glistening waters and lush vistas of the gently undulating mountains. During the day, it’s a vision of dreams, with the sky, hills and lake waters meeting at the horizon like paint on a canvas. After the sun has set, the stars come out – it’s breath-taking. The villa has been built in the most spacious way possible. The rooms, the living room, the magnificent viewing deck and the garden. Oh, the garden! Stone-paved paths, refreshing grass and colourful flowers all around you - would definitely remind you of the beautiful garden you once saw as a child in some poetry book, once upon a time.

The deck area looks out over this vista and is the perfect place to watch the sun go down. This is a lovely dining area, should you choose to eat al fresco. As the sky shifts into pastel shades, slip into your comfiest clothes with a glass of wine and feel a sense of calm wash over you.

This is neither a wheelchair-friendly, nor a pet-friendly property.

The Space:

BEDROOMS
- Spacious and breezy, there are a total of 2 bedrooms at this property - both on the lower ground floor.
- With views of the garden, you will feel surrounded and connected to nature at all times, when you’re here.
- With comfortable furnishings, each of these bedrooms are equipped with amenities like a king-sized bed, Wi-Fi, AC, and an unrestricted view of the beautiful Bhatghar Lake.
- Additional mattresses can be provided on request, if required.
- Both these bedrooms also offer an ensuite bathroom.

BATHROOMS
- There are 2 ensuite bathrooms and 1 powder room on the ground floor. 
- All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS
- As soon as you drive towards the home, the views you will witness enroute will already give you an idea on how exhilarating the view from the home is going to be.
- Step into the living room on the ground floor, offering clear, beautiful views of the Bhatghar lake.
- This space can seat up to 8 people, is equipped with Wi-Fi and a 120 inch projector screen where you can enjoy your preferred and favourite movies and matches with a view.
- Part of this space is the dining table that can accommodate 6 people.
- The living area opens up to the viewing deck that is easily the showstopper here.
- Sit-back, relax and relish a bunch of cocktails by the barbecue with an ethereal backdrop that looks like something straight out of a picture.
- As the day progresses, guests can explore the nature trails around the property or enjoy a game of table tennis at the home.

KITCHEN
- Cooking in the kitchen is strictly prohibited. Food for infants is the only exception that may be prepared in the kitchen.
- It is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, water purifier and a mixer-grinder.
- Crockery and cutlery is also available.

FOOD
- Guests can choose to order-in or eat out at nearby restaurants.
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff.

ACTIVITIES
Within the property, guests can enjoy the plethora of board games and indoor games on the deck area with the mesmerising view of the pristine lake beyond them. Embrace nature up-close at this one-of-a-kind location. Enjoy a game of table-tennis with your friends and end the day with a quiet evening watching our favourite web series on the projector in the lavish living room. Guest can read various english and local marathi books from the book shelves in the living room.

ADD-ON SERVICES
- Guests can choose to eat out or order in from nearby restaurants. 
- ⁠Barbecue can be availed at an additional charge.
- Please note that charges will be applicable if guests choose to bring their own vendors to the property.
- Butler services can be availed at an additional cost by the guests, subject to prior request and availability. 
- Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- All-male groups are not allowed.
- This location of this villa is secluded.
- This is not a pet-friendly property.
- In case of a power outage, the inverter can support everything except ACs and geysers for up to 7 hours.
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
- There are CCTV cameras that capture the common areas for security purposes. 
- The caretaker stays near the premises of the same property and will be available from 9AM to 6PM.
- Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.
- Airtel, Jio and Vodafone mobile network work fairly well here. However, the internet connection can occasionally be spotty - means the stage is set to unplug from the virtual world and reconnect with the physical one. 

HOUSE RULES
- Alcohol consumption is allowed. 
- Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only. 
- Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. 
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
