Shantam House - Villa in Lonavala

Shantam House is a perfect refuge for those seeking a tranquil respite from the suburban city bustle. This charming weekend getaway, located in the heart of Lonavala, offers a unique experience that is nothing short of opulence, comfort, and leisure. With an array of activities to choose from, such as a peaceful stroll on the expansive lawn, a soothing dip in the outdoor swimming pool, or playing a healthy competitive game of tennis on the court, this home is quite perfect to bring your entire clan along.

We care for your absolute comfort! To that effect, we provide:
- Generator, Wi-Fi, AC, TV
- Steam, sauna, gazebo, bar
- Medical kit, torch, fire extinguisher
- Geysers, towels, toiletries
- A secured parking space that can accommodate up to 3 cars

This is not a wheelchair-friendly property. Pets are not allowed.

The Space:

BEDROOMS
- There are 4 well-furnished bedrooms - two on the ground floor & two on the first floor.
- Wake up to panoramic views of the surrounding green hills and valleys that each room has to offer.
- All bedrooms are equipped with comfy king-sized beds, AC, Wi-Fi, wardrobes & hangers.
- All rooms have an ensuite bathroom.

BATHROOMS
- There are 4 attached bathrooms and 1 shared bathroom on the ground floor.
- All bathrooms have geysers, towels, bathtubs, and basic toiletries.
- All bathrooms are well-ventilated via the presence of exhaust fans.

COMMON AREAS
- The villa features an expansive living room based on the ground floor.
- The room with its sofa-style seating can accommodate up to 15 respectively.
- The living room is equipped with a TV, AC, and Wi-Fi.
- The dining room is a separate area on the ground floor. It also features an outdoor seating area.
- This room can accommodate up to 6 people indoors and 6 outdoors.
- There are two balconies with amazing views on the ground floor and first floor of this property.
- Both balconies have ample seating arrangements for up to 5 & 3 people respectively.
- Take a relaxing dip in the private pool which is 25 x 12 ft. in size and 4.5 ft. in depth. 
- Take part in an array of outdoor activities on the 4000sq.ft lawn.

KITCHEN
- Guests do not have access to the kitchen. 
- It is equipped with a purifier, crockery and cutlery.

FOOD
- ⁠All vegetarian meals can be provided at an additional cost.
- Please note that an 18% GST charge will be levied on the above prices.
- Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is not allowed.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa except for the kitchen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We cannot provide staff accommodation for your personal staff.

ACTIVITIES
Enjoy some competitive rounds of indoor games like table tennis, darts, carrom or board games. Take a de-stressing dip in the heated pool or relish some steam & sauna sessions. Bring out your inner child and indulge in an array of outdoor activities on the lush green lawn overlooking the equally lush green mountains. P.s if you are a tennis player, the outdoor tennis court is a bonus!
And to top it off, avid gamers get a chance at playing their favourite games in the gaming section of this house.

ADD-ON SERVICES
- ⁠Barbecue can be availed at an additional charge.
- The tennis court floodlights can be accessed at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per hour.
- Guests can access the steam and sauna room for an additional charge of Rs. 500 for a duration of 30 minutes.
- Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- There is a CCTV camera installed in the exterior area of the house for security purposes
- In case of a power outage, the generator can support all lights, fans, TV & ACs for up to 5 hours.
- The dining and living areas are equipped with an air conditioning system. 
- The home is not wheelchair accessible.
- The caretaker resides on the premises of the property.
- Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.
- Mobile networks such as Jio, and Vi work fairly well here.

HOUSE RULES
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
- Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas. Please do not carry food/drinks in and around the pool. 
- Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only. 
- Children should be supervised while they are in or around the pool. 
- We urge you to wear swimming attire in the pool and kindly shower before entering. 
- Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
- All-male groups are not allowed.
- Guests can access the kitchen for reheating purposes. 
- Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. 
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
