Villa Amaaya - Villa in Alibaug

Nestled in unending expanses of green verdancy and foliage, Villa Amaaya is a spacious holiday home in the coastal town of Alibaug. Approximately 5 km. away from Kihim beach, this villa has everything you would need for a sun-kissed getaway, be it the huge oval-shaped swimming pool or the vast, beautiful lawns complete with cane chairs. Whilst, the spacious indoor spaces serve as the ideal sanctuary after a day spent outdoors. Retire in the comfortable bedrooms boasting modern furnishings, lounge in the drawing-room and take home a bag of memories!

We care for your absolute comfort! To that effect, we provide:
- Inverter, generator, AC, Wi-Fi
- Wardrobe, hangers
- Iron, torch, washing machine 
- Geysers, towels, toiletries
- Secured parking space for up to 6 cars

This is not a wheelchair-friendly property, nor a pet-friendly property.

The Space:

BEDROOMS
- There are 3 spacious bedrooms - 1 on the ground floor, and 2 on the elevated ground floor.
- All rooms offer various amenities to ensure your utmost comfort, including AC, Wi-Fi and attached bathrooms.
- One room has a king-sized bed and 2 other rooms have queen-sized beds. 

BATHROOMS
- There are 3 attached bathrooms. 
- All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries.
- One of the bathrooms also offers an open shower area.

COMMON AREAS
- There is an expansive living room on the ground floor of the villa, featuring U-shaped seating arrangements.
- It is equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi and a designated workstation. It does not have an AC.
- The dining area is a part of the living room and is equipped with a circular dining table and can accommodate up to 6 people.
- The exteriors of the property boast vast expanses of lush greenery. It features a 12,000 sq. ft. lawn complete with an attached gazebo, cane chairs and a swing that can seat 6 people.
- Guests can take a leisurely stroll on the lawn.
- It also has a slide, children’s swings, monkey bar and a trampoline to keep your little ones entertained.
- Guests can enjoy a relaxing splash in the oval-shaped indoor swimming pool, 50x20 ft. in size and 4.5 ft. in depth.
- Guests have access to the pool from 8 AM to 7 PM.

KITCHEN
- Guests do not have access to the kitchen to prepare their own meals.
- It is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, water purifier, and a mixer. 
- Crockery and cutlery are also available.

FOOD
- Vegetarian meals can be provided at an additional cost.

- Consumption or reheating of non-vegetarian food is strictly not allowed.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own cook or prepare meals themselves at the Villa.

- Service from delivery partners like Swiggy and Zomato is not available in Alibaug.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa except for the kitchen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.
 

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is also present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. The caretaker will be available from 8 AM to 8 PM.

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We can provide accommodation for 2 drivers in the staff quarters, at an additional cost of Rs. 1000/-. However, bedding is available for one driver only. This charge is exclusive of GST & meal prices. The cost for staff meals will align with that of adult meals, and an 18% GST charge will be added to these charges.


ACTIVITIES
Within the property, guests can enjoy a relaxing soak in the private, oval-shaped swimming pool. They can gather their loved ones and play indoor games like cards and ludo. They can take a peaceful walk on the manicured lawn or unwind in the gazebo, while the little ones keep themselves occupied with the slide, swings, monkey bar and trampoline.

ADD-ON SERVICES
- The washing machine, iron and torch can be used on request, at no additional charge.
- A barbecue meal can be arranged at an extra charge.
- Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.                            

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- All-male groups and all-female groups are not allowed.
- Kindly note that the trampoline is only accessible to children.
- The living room is not equipped with an AC.
- There is a friendly dog residing on the premises of the property.
- The location of the villa is secluded.
- Guests are advised to shut the windows and doors after 10 PM, given the presence of insects and bugs around.
- In case of a power outage, the generator can support all the appliances for up to 12 hours and the inverter can support a few lights and fans for up to 3 hours. The diesel for the generator will be charged as per actuals.
- There are several CCTV cameras on the premises of the property for security purposes.
- The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property.
- Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.
- Mobile networks such as Jio work fairly well.
- Service from delivery partners like Swiggy and Zomato is not available in Alibaug.

HOUSE RULES
- Consumption or reheating of non-vegetarian food is strictly not allowed. 
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
- Smoking hookah is strictly prohibited.
- Alcohol consumption is allowed. Please do not carry food/drinks in and around the pool. 
- Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only. 
- Children should be supervised while they are in or around the pool. 
- We urge you to wear swimming attire in the pool and kindly shower before entering. 
- Only families are allowed. 
- Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.
- Please note that guests cannot hire or bring any outside vendor for any events at the property.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit of Rs. 15,000 will be collected before check-in.
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
